Porsche Voice Pilot
Ever dream of the day when you could talk to your car, and it would respond? With the Porsche Voice Pilot, you can. The Taycan can respond to conversational commands to make your ride more comfortable. All you have to do to activate the voice pilot is say ‘Hey Porsche’, and your Taycan will be able to lower and raise the temperature in your car, activate ambient lighting and massage functions, just to name a few of its capabilities.
Surround View and Active Parking Support
Whether you want to park the car or would prefer to have your car do it, the Taycan has your back with the Surround View and Active Parking Support. An audible alert will play when backing up to park, and a visual warning will appear on your central screen. The parking support will park the Taycan for you by taking control of the steering wheel and forward and reverse functions. The Surround View system is equipped with three additional cameras to make parking easier; one in the front and two in each lower trim. It even allows switching between camera modes to allow for better visibility.
Active Lane Keeping
No more veering into nearby lanes, thanks to Active Lane Keeping. A feature of the Porsche InnoDrive, the system utilizes a camera to keep track of lane line markings. To keep you in the lane, it will employ multiple steering adjustments, even in the worst traffic conditions.
Mobile Charger
Charge your car anywhere with the Mobile Charger Connect. When you are at home, you can put the mobile charger on your garage wall in the charging dock. When you are out without the mobile charger, you can use your Porsche Connect app to locate nearby charging pedestals. The app even allows you to pay for charges and will notify you of your car’s battery level.
Lane Change Assist and Night Vision Assist
Lane changing is made easier with the Lane Change Assist. The Taycan works to detect cars in your rear and blind spots and displays a warning in the side mirrors.
The Night Vision Assist uses the front camera’s thermal imaging to help night-time driving safety. Pedestrians and animals are highlighted in yellow when detected. If the situation is dangerous, animals and pedestrians will be highlighted in red. The system will also send an audible alert to make sure you are aware of your surroundings.
